24 Farben-für Blinky, Cookie Edition

24 Farben-für Blinky, Cookie Edition was the subsequent evolution of the Legendary Baked Goods series. It began as a gift for a loved one who, at the time, was living across the country. On one of his prior visits to New York, we'd spent some time at Dia:Beacon, and I wanted to recreate the experience for his birthday in edible form. 

I bent cutters out of tin to reproduce Imi Knoebel's series of paintings. I shipped them overnight, crossing my fingers that they'd arrive intact. Not only did they arrive safely (thank you, FedEx) but he went so far as to stage an opening for dinner guests by installing them on a ledge in his loft. Others were able to experience an interpretation of 24 Farben-für Blinky in Oakland inspired by our trip to Beacon six months prior.
